We prefer waves over handshakes. And we’re finding other ways to keep visitors safe from COVID-19.

See How.

Know Before you Go!

St. Louis Union Station is working hard to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests and team members. We want all of our guests to have an enjoyable, fun experience.  Please familiarize yourself with the new regulations outlined below.

Before you visit

  • All guests must complete a health declaration within 24 hours before they visit and permitted entry. Please complete the form by clicking here.

  • We encourage all guests to purchase their tickets online before their visit.  To ensure physical distancing, the number of ticket windows open onsite is reduced.

  • Guests visiting the indoor attractions including the Aquarium will pass through a temperature scanner. If your temperature is confirmed to be 100 degrees or higher, you will be asked to visit on another day.

  • St. Louis Union Station will continue to monitor updates from the CDC, guidance from federal, state and local officials, and medical news related to COVID-19 so we can update our policies as the situation evolves. We encourage you to visit our website the day of your visit before you arrive to familiarize yourself with any updates or changes.

What to expect once you arrive

  • Additional hand sanitizer stations will be found throughout Union Station.

  • Entry into the queue lines is regulated to allow for physical distancing.  You will find markers throughout the queue lines to help you maintain physical distancing.

  • Physical distancing is strongly encouraged, and floor decals throughout will help guests to gauge their distance.

  • We are maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and all high-touch surfaces like windows, railings, and restrooms are being continuously cleaned.

  • The St. Louis Wheel: Between rides, our staff will take a moment to sanitize each gondola. Please expect minor delays before you’re able to step onto your gondola and as your ride is coming to an end.

  • The Carousel at Union Station: The number of riders will be limited so guests can maintain a safe 6’ distance. After each ride, our staff will take a moment to sanitize the carousel animals and poles. Please expect minor delays between rides to allow for cleaning time.

  • Mini Golf at Union Station: Our staff regularly sanitizes all equipment after each use. We’ll also limit the number of total guests on the course and monitor group size to ensure successful social distancing.

  • Aquarium All guests (including pass holders) are required to reserve tickets in advance. Watch for floor decals to indicate where you can approach a touch pool or animal interactive area. Guests will follow a one-way path through the aquarium and will not be able to reenter an area once they have exited.

  • Ropes Course: We will sanitize tether covers between each use and will provide gloves for those guests who would like them. Advance timed tickets are required.

  • Mirror Maze: Guests will be provided with gloves and will be spaced out throughout the maze. The compression hallway is temporarily turned off.

Personal Responsibility

Although safety precautions as to your visit are taken by the St. Louis Union Station, every visitor is responsible for his or her personal safety and that of children or others under their supervision. In consideration of access to St. Louis Union Station visitors (a) agree to comply with our policies and instructions, including those on signage, (b) understand and agree that the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has recently infected individuals in the St. Louis area, that it is contagious and that it can spread to persons in any number of ways, (c) agree that they assume responsibility for any injury (including personal injury, disability or death), illness, damage, loss claim, liability, or expense arising out of or related to COVID-19 experienced or contracted in connection with a St. Louis Union Station visit, (d) that they waive and release all claims against St. Louis Union Station and its commissioners, officers, employees, volunteers and agents relative to the foregoing matters, and (e) that they agree that St. Louis Union Station is legally entitled to sovereign immunity regarding to any such claims.
